The Art Neon Terms and Conditions

These Terms apply to purchases from theartneon.com and the use of our website. Please read them together with the product information, any written quote agreed with our team, and the policies linked below.

Our business address is not the return address. Contact us before returning a product so we can provide the correct instructions.

Orders and Product Details

Your order is based on the product information, options and price shown when you place it, together with any specifications expressly agreed with our team.

Please check your wording, measurements, colours, accessories and delivery details carefully. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible.

When ordering on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. Any project-specific terms agreed in writing form part of your order.

Designs and Mockups

Our custom signs are produced according to the specifications selected or agreed for each order. Product images and mockups illustrate the design; colour and glow may appear different depending on your screen, lighting and surroundings.

When reviewing a mockup, check the wording, layout, dimensions and other details provided. Your approval confirms the design shown and the accompanying specifications. It does not remove your rights if the finished product is faulty or does not match the agreed order.

If a technical adjustment would materially change your design or specifications, we will contact you before proceeding.

Design Approval, Changes and Cancellations

Personalised orders go directly into production after payment unless mockup approval is requested.

If you request mockup approval for an order placed through our product pages or Online Designer, you may cancel before approving the design or before the review deadline expires, whichever comes first. Production begins when you approve the mockup or if we receive no reply within 24 hours of sending it. This deadline is stated in the email.

Logo and other quoted projects require both design approval and payment before production begins.

To request changes or cancellation, reply to your mockup email or email support@theartneon.com with your order number. Agreed changes may affect the price or delivery timeline, which we will confirm by email.

Once production begins, signs made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you cannot be cancelled or returned for a change of mind. Statutory cancellation and return rights for eligible products, including 5V USB signs, remain unchanged.

Prices and Payment

The currency, total price, applicable taxes and any additional charges are shown before you complete your purchase. For quoted projects, these details are confirmed in your quote or payment link.

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Any financing or instalment arrangement is subject to the payment provider’s terms.

Production begins after payment and completion of any required design review, unless different payment terms have been agreed in writing.

Price changes apply to future purchases. If an obvious pricing error affects your order, we will contact you and explain the available options under applicable law.

Production and Delivery

Standard production and delivery usually take 2–3 weeks in total. Express usually takes 10–12 calendar days in total for the destinations covered by that service. Other destinations, remote addresses and bulk projects may have different timelines.

These estimates include production and shipping. The timeline starts after payment and completion of any required design review.

If you need your sign for a particular date, contact us before ordering. Any guaranteed arrival date must be expressly agreed with our team.

Returns and Refunds

Signs made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

You may request a return for a 5V USB sign within 14 days of delivery. For eligible returns, notify us within that period and send the goods back within 14 days of your notice.

The return procedure, shipping costs and refund arrangements are explained in our Return and Refund Policy.

These conditions do not affect your rights if a product is faulty, damaged or does not match your order.

Warranty, Installation and Product Support

Our signs and all supplied accessories include a two-year warranty from delivery when used as instructed. Coverage details are available on our Warranty and Claims page.

Follow the installation and operating instructions supplied with your product. Use each sign and accessory only in the conditions for which it is rated. Indoor products must be protected from water and moisture. Installation services are included only when expressly agreed.

If you experience a problem, contact us with your order number and a description of the issue. We may request photos, a short video or an inspection to identify the cause and arrange an appropriate solution.

The warranty is additional to your statutory rights.

Artwork and Intellectual Property

When you submit wording, logos, images or other artwork, you confirm that you have the rights or permission needed for us to reproduce that material for your order.

You authorise us to use and share the submitted material with our production partners as needed to prepare your design and fulfil your order. Submitting material does not transfer ownership of it to us.

Our website content, branding and original designs belong to us or their respective rights holders. They may not be commercially reproduced or used without permission, except where permitted by law.

Website Use and Privacy

You must not use our website for unlawful purposes, submit fraudulent information, interfere with its operation or attempt to access systems or data without authorisation.

We may restrict website access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, misuse or security risks. This does not remove our obligations for existing orders.

Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings that apply in your country of residence.

Please contact us first if you have a complaint so we can work towards a resolution. Consumers may seek assistance from the Finnish Consumer Advisory Services and may submit an eligible unresolved dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms for future purchases. Your order remains subject to the terms agreed when it was placed, unless a change is agreed with you or required by law.
